Sir Jeremy Hunt - f. Chancellor, and Foreign Secretary

Sir Jeremy Hunt is a British Conservative politician who has held some of the most senior roles in British government. He served as Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2022 to 2024, Foreign Secretary from 2018 to 2019, and Secretary of State for Health and Social Care from 2012 to 2018 — making him the longest-serving Health Secretary in UK history. Throughout his tenure as Health Secretary, Hunt championed patient safety reform and introduced a series of measures aimed at improving NHS transparency and accountability.He was also the minister responsible for delivering the widely acclaimed 2012 London Olympic Games.

Educated at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he studied philosophy, politics and economics, Hunt has been the MP for Godalming and Ash since 2005.

Before entering politics, Hunt co-founded Hotcourses, an education publishing and listings company that grew into a successful international business, which he eventually sold for a reported £30 million.
