Richard Law-Deeks is the Chief Executive of LGPS Central, an investment fund overseeing approximately £100 billion in pooled pension assets on behalf of eight Local Government Pension Scheme funds across the English Midlands. Central plays a key role in the UK’s public sector pension landscape as one of the largest asset pools within the Local Government Pension Scheme.

A qualified accountant, he previously served as CEO of the Royal Mail Pension Plan for nine years. His earlier career included corporate finance and senior positions at Hertfordshire County Council and Hackney London Borough Council, giving him deep expertise in both pensions and local government finance.
